MUI does need more development. I think we can all agree on that. Newer
betas are out there (though who knows how old?) because there are the
occasional slip ups when libraries or programs are released that require th
newer MUI. I'm not sure why development is so slow now. They would get more
registrations if a new version was released. It is becoming the general
mindset that MUI is dead and people shy away from dead projects. MUI is too
good and entrenched in many Amiga programs to not continue it's development.
At least Stuntz could let the community at large know it is alive. He could
at least let someone help in development like Olli has with some of the
Vaporware programs.

3.3 is pretty stable here... it depends on what else is running... though I
have had Amirc crash for no apparent reason with only it and Miami running.
