Auto reconnect only seems to try once. For modem users, if the modem is
still redialling, this is not good. A workaround for that is to have an
arexx script in miami that connects amirc on online signals, but this is not
always desired. Would be better for AmIRC to do it itself. 

Since switching to ADSL I have not been disconnected except by a lagged
server. In the case that you suffer a ping timeout perhaps AmIRC could try a
different server?
