Hi, people who have posted to the AmIRC mailing list in the last days have probably received some bogus message from "SpamCop". This is due to the fact that someone who had severe problems reading the unsubscribe message at the bottom of each post repoterted the mailing list address as "spam", claiming it would be advertising "www.vapor.com". This is clearly in violation of the SpamCop terms of usage, since the AmIRC ML is a "opt-in" mailing list, which is further protected against abuse by requiring an confirmation ticket to be replied to before subscription takes place. There is nothing I can do about this -- it's not a technical problem at this end, just abuse of the "SpamCop" facility; I've, however, removed the individual from the list.
