I went to Nortex Electronics today, bought some iron. 1) 3200V Y 3 phase transformer at 3.5KVA. 2) 20H 0.5A smoothing chokes 2) 10/4H 0.3A swinging chokes 1) 10H 0.4A choke.
I also borrowed their Chicago, Stancor, Thordarson, Triad, and UTC catalogs, which I am going to try to get scanned in. Amazingly, I think I found the specs for my UTC PA-309 (the amateur or a special version equivalent of the CG-309?) The GC-309 is rated: 3500-3000-2400-0-2400-3000-3500 VAC @ 1A DC. The PA-309 has the same voltages and weighs 300 lbs versus the 250 lbs of the CG-309, but I have yet to ever find its specs. Anyone ever have the spec on the PA-309 from any of the the catalogs? I have never seen it in the cats.
