If I want a civics lesson, I will go to that web site. This site is supposed to be about Amateur AM Radio! On that topic, I recently hauled home a Globe King 500C (4-400 final) that has not been on the air for some years. In addition to the usual caution about reforming capacitors, are there other things I should address? Are there any recommended modifications to the audio/modulator? Puerto Rican hams simply want to be able to take their ham radio exams in their native language, which they are already allowed to do. This was NOT intended to be a proposal to make it mandatory for all ham radio exams in the US to be printed in both languages, as has been widely reported over the internet.
