Hey Geoff,

In this particular Johnson Valiant, it has a unglazed, 4" ceramic post used as 
a standoff and connection point for the three 6146 plate parasitic supressors. 
From that ceramic post, a silver-plated metal ribbon goes over to the plate 
choke.
