Subject: Re: [AMRadio] Spark gap transmitter

This is a bit of the subject..Iam in need of a schematic and detailed
construction notes for a spark gap transmitter..It will be used in an
upcoming exhibit..Thanks in advance..........

A Model T spark coil, a key and an antenna.

There is usually at least one tank circuit (not counting the antenna
itself) involved, as well.

(Does the term "jigger" ring a bell?)

I'm sure I've got period schematics SOMEWHERE, just don't remember quite
where.

That came along later when they had a clue what was going on. The original experimenters covered DC to daylight.

Oh, dont forget the coupling cap which was home made back then. I dont know the output voltage of a T coil.
