Bob, I think you got it, it did feel like it was binding on the magnet, I 
saw clearance and did not even think about junk in there.  will also check 
for static. Thanks guys. Bernie  Hey, in 55 years there could be a dead rat 
in there!!!!  one more comment, this is a great rx, I nearly completly 
recapped it and it is a great performer.
