Al, I find that I need to toggle from C+ to C- and back to C+ in order to get things to work on my FT-847. I usually select the satellite, turn on the rotator, turn on the radio and then toggle the CAT control...see if this helps.
FYI, I also have my CAT rate at 57600...can't seem to find that setting in SatPC32 anywhere though.
