David,
to set the CAT baud rate open menu "Radio Setup" and in the upper left 
section click on the control of the upper combo box (right hand of the word 
"Model"). In the list that opens select "Baudrate". Click on the control of 
the combo box below and select 57600.

There is a detailed description in the "Hints(Radio) for .....Yaesu users". 
The file can be opened from the SatPC32 menu "?".
