Clint Bradford K6LCS will be the guest speaker at the June 2, 2014 meeting of
the
Western Amateur Radio Association (WARA) club in northern Orange County,
California.
All are welcome to attend.

"We will be discussing amateur radio satellites in the first part of our
session. Then we will
have a seminar on "Handling Emergency Calls on Amateur Radio," Clint advises.

WARA already knows Clint's devotion to the ham satellites - and has spoken to
the club
and demonstrated "working a bird" for us before. And his "Handling Emergency
Calls ... "
presentation is one he has developed in conjunction with local law enforcement,
California's Department of Transportation, and the California Highway Patrol.

"WARA has a marvelous record of supporting amateur radio - and has been an ARRL
Affiliate Club for about 35 years. I am pleased they have asked me to speak to
their
club again," Clint said.

Western Amateur Radio Association holds its general meeting at the Sizzler
Restaurant
at 1401 N. Harbor, Fullerton, CA (by Brea Blvd., north of the Courthouse on the
west side
of the road). The meeting starts at 7:00pm in the meeting room, but you should
show up
about an hour early if you would also like to get some food.
