maybe because we need to have it in the TODO to avoid forgetting his
patch, and because we don't know if we can do it or not, it hasn't been
tested yet, and it HAS to be backward compatible... you understand ? maybe
have a "sorter" for the first run, that would look in the .dat files and
move the cached images to the subdirs, but somehow it should be backward
compatible.. we odn't know also if it doesn't break anything, the see dps
per user, the pic browser, etc... all this has to be looked at.. we might
find something that we don't like (behavior) and we might want not to do
it..
if you're willing to do it, then good, investigate those things, apply the
patch, make sure it works, it's stable, nothing was forgotten, commit it,
if there are still bugs, no prob, it's SVN and they'll be catched in the
RC1...

- Make amsn 0.96 use TLS 1.5
- Check if the 'View Profile' is working correctly, it seems to be
broken.

(seems defaut smileys are always there so a skin settings.xml without

<smiley> tag will get the default smileys, but someone has a skin where

You see the spaces? It might be MSN Plus! colored nicks with \x03 and
x04 or stuff like that, and the paste made them into spaces, I requested
the user to send me the file (instead of paste) so I can see the binary
value that is there.. this MUST be fixed before 0.96 as it's a critical
bug... <-- file contains \x20 == spaces! I added the user to my list and
waiting for him to accept me to finally see what's wrong with his nick
on
my own pc...
Very strange since I have contacts with colored nicks and it works
perfect....
yes, and it's not colored nicks.. I added the user, and I see him without
any problems, his nick contains (in the place of spaces) %0a and he has a
multiline nickname.. I couldn't understand the problem because %0a is
urlencoded so there is no way it could be transformed into a space
(because of a wrong system encoding or whatever), also, the guy sent me
the protocol log saved to file (not pasted) so I could see the exact char
sent, and it was in hex 0x20 which is a space, so I don't understand..
the guy said he deleted the user and then it worked.. it's impossible
since the LST will still be received because that user stays in the RL and
AL...
so what I think is that it was a false alarm, could have been multiline
nicks broken with MSN servers and they fixed it fast... I don't know.. we
should drop this.. I was just waiting for an answer from that guy, whether
it happens again now that he readds that user to his list...
- The 'X' in the titlebar should NOT quit without a confirmation
message.
We should have a confirmation dialog that allows minimizng to tray with
a
"don't ask again" option.
- The menus currently have a lot of TODO in them, these should be
implemented.
- make CL tooltips show faster
- Make PSM under the nick as stated, not under the DP..
- Custom states not saved on disconnect/reconnect
