in the forums, many people reported the issue, but I don't know if they were all using pwc... if the change is indeed caused by the change of getimage to nextframe call, then it might be because there was an mmap or a buffer allocated that was never freed... we should check the return value of close () (assuming it returns an error in case it doesn't close), or look inside pwc's close method to see if there is a reason why the close would fail, maybe we should do a free_buffers() before the close.... because users say that the open/close works fine with other softwares (gnomemeeting, and cam softs)
