Hey,
the new website looks great! I like the way you did it, including info about
SVN and all.. but I just thought that.. well, the info
about source and about svn is great, but people will need to click on 'linux'
to see that. Maybe we should add a mac and windows
section and put all that in download.php and remove linux-downloads.php.. no,
ok it's a wrong idea, you did great :p
small comment. You say "the generic installer is created with AP" I would
rephrase it into "THIS generic installer WAS created.."
(without the capital letters of course). Also, I don't like the "looks like
those found in windows", I prefer to make no comparison,
+ the 'looks like' is clickable and nothing else in the sentence.. it's weird,
it's the way kmess did it but it's still weird,
hehe.. also, kmess had a stronger contrast between normal text and highlited
(links) text, while for us, the 'looks like' is not
easy to see as clickable...
I suggest you make it, "with a user-friendly installer. Look for yourself" for
example...
and the "Please follow the instructions to install the package", make the whole
line clickable and put it as a separate line (<br/>
just before) and make it BOLD.
Other low pri comments. The tux icon is great! just make it a little lower as
it is too much stuck with the ads... :S
in the distributions paragraph, when you say "found on top of this page" make
it clickable that would go to the 'generic installer'
Also, you made the distro buttons link to the distro rpm/deb search, but why
Fedora doesn't have that link, but a link to wiki ?
just a comment, you may leave it that way (I think I understand the reasons).
About the source download, it's great, just make sure you say "you can create
RPM or DEB packages from the source package using the
"make rpm" or "make deb" command appropriate to your distribution.
It's not "rpmbuild" afaik.
same goes here for the intructions to install.

Great idea to use the wiki once again. The install_tarball needs changes, it
doesn't take about the dependencies for example, and it
should be more complete.

There's also a note I need to say about download links, but I'll do it as a
separate thread!

great job billiob. a lot of comments but they all are 'la petite bete", great
job overall.

Thanks for taking the time to do it!
