I hereby confirm that I'm using the following Logformat definition in
my httpd.conf:

LogFormat "%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %s %b \"%{Referer}i\"
\"%{User-Agent}i\"" combined

resulting following logfile entry with "$LANG=de_DE.ISO8859-1" set:

host.sub.domain.com - - [06/Mai/1999:16:29:58 +0200] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 200 9611 "-"
"Mozilla/4.04 [en] (WinNT; I)"

(Sorry for the long lines - tried to be authentic)

Unsetting the $LANG environment variable the language of the date is
getting English => [06/May/1999:16:29:58 +0200]

That's all ...

Thank you
Stefan
