Ok, I am assuming you are doing DNS lookups and cahcing them. If your are not
caching them not you should start. This is done in Analog with the DNS command:

    DNS WRITE

Will read cached entries and right new/expired entries to the dnscache file
(usually in the Analog directory). The location of the file is set in
anlghead.h for default and can be overridden with DNSFILE. See docs/dns.html
for details and more options.

DNSTrans is much faster than Analog's lookup, but it involves a little more
administrative overhead to get it running (and presumably, schedule it to run
regularly). It an create an Analog cache file, from which Analog can read. If
you want to set it up, you'll definitely see performance improvements.
