I wonder if anyone can help me with a quick question.

I have been trying to get the UNCOMPRESS command to work but I just
get a message saying the input file/directory does not exist. On further
testing it appears that if the any of the directory or filenames do not
conform to the old DOS 8.3 format, the version of gzip I have can not handle
it. Does anyone know where I can get a command line version of gzip that
understands long filenames and can write to standard out.

                Regards Jamie
