Winzip version 8 has an additional downloadable tool for command line
unzipping. That might be able to help you.

I've tried to isolate them but haven't found any way of doing so. Do you
know of an alternative unzipper which would work with the UNCOMPRESS
command under W98SE with .gz files? This could give us a clue.
