Inspired by this thread, I spent a couple of hours this morning tweaking a Timian XSL stylesheet to produce something relatively useable. Otherwise, I haven't been too interestered in the IP-to-country mapping discussion - this is really just to show off Timian :-) http://timian.jessen.ch/reports/countrycode Like Bobby, I also wrote a little utility for looking up the country, and replacing/adding the <user> field in the logfile. (very crude and certainly *not* fit for processing millions of lines of log ...) Interestingly, the ip-to-country database from above seems to believe all private IP-ranges originate in the Netherlands? /Per -- Per Jessen, Zurich http://timian.jessen.ch - an analog report formatter using XSLT. http://www.dansk.org - for alle danskere i udlandet! +------------------------------------------------------------------------ | TO UNSUBSCRIBE from this list: | http://lists.isite.net/listgate/analog-help/unsubscribe.html | | Digest version: http://lists.isite.net/listgate/analog-help-digest/ | Usenet version: news://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.web.analog.general | List archives: http://www.analog.cx/docs/mailing.html#listarchives +------------------------------------------------------------------------
