No. I said that when someone with IE asked for
http://www.yoursite.tld/, IE also asked for
http://www.yoursite.tld/favicon.ico to show it in the adress bar. Ok ?

Now, as there's no favicon.ico file at the root of your website,
there's a redirection to the 404.html file. Ok.

But as it's only for showing an icon in the adress bar, IE is not
asking for images which are in the 404.html page.

Ok. I've been asking for http://www.hebrew-streams.org/favicon.ico and
I've been redirected to http://www.hebrew-streams.org/404.html.
