No. I said that when someone with IE asked for http://www.yoursite.tld/, IE also asked for http://www.yoursite.tld/favicon.ico to show it in the adress bar. Ok ? Now, as there's no favicon.ico file at the root of your website, there's a redirection to the 404.html file. Ok. But as it's only for showing an icon in the adress bar, IE is not asking for images which are in the 404.html page. >>An URL is welcome. > http://www.hebrew-streams.org Ok. I've been asking for http://www.hebrew-streams.org/favicon.ico and I've been redirected to http://www.hebrew-streams.org/404.html. > Thanks for your time and desire to explain these things. We appreciate it. You're welcome. But, forget for the bookmark issue, I think I looked in the wrong way. -- Ludovic LE MOAL +------------------------------------------------------------------------ | TO UNSUBSCRIBE from this list: | http://lists.meer.net/mailman/listinfo/analog-help | | Analog Documentation: http://analog.cx/docs/Readme.html | List archives: http://www.analog.cx/docs/mailing.html#listarchives | Usenet version: news://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.web.analog.general +------------------------------------------------------------------------
