You don't specify a date range for logfile names. You tell Analog the date
range to report on. if you have a years worth of logfiles, but just want to
report on the logs from  the first week of July last year, Analog will read
all of the logfiles that you give it, but it will only count the log entries
that fall between the specified dates.
