ok, thanks! I see that for action VIEW, the type fields are different. But in general, back to my question What if an intent matches two or more activities - how is it resolved? Since Android is meant to be very loosely coupled, it is likely that activities from different applications may match the same intent. Traditional systems are more tightly coupled. - Anil
