I have installed Android x86 on my PC from LiveCD. I have also mounted the sdcard. But I am not able to copy the .apk file from SDCARD into / system/app folder in Android. Kindly help. I also tried doing this using the adb command - adb install file.apk But this didn work. In Android-developer forum, it was mentioned that the above command needs to be run from /tools directory which I couldn find.
Also I face the problem of the Andriod file-system being a Read-only FileSystem.
