Hey Google folks, as you may have realized, when selling potential developer team members on the android SDK, I was candid about Vista audio and we experienced 19% Eclipse reboot during the demo. One spent several hours at home with android and compared his non results to real results on Sun Java Mobile in the same time, and decided the cost/ benefit did notwork for him and his family.
Yes, our submittal was not from a developer but from someone who was simply challenged :-) [congratulations to all the participants so far!] 1. Will there be a new SDK after the investment footprint is revealed early next week? This lets people make informed decisions about how well their target customer's needs will be met by the 50 funded projects. 2. Will a new SDK not be available or supported until the 20 have been selected from the 50? How big is the desired android developer community: 50? These seem like reasonable information requests.
