Disagree. If you don't get a gold, silver, or a bronze medal in a tournament, would you ask for another kind of medal just to compensate the time you were trained for the tournament?
Please accept the reality and move on for Phase II. Android is a great platform and I believe everyone will be a winner at the end. If your application is really that good, it will be used by millions of users and you can make your money there.
