I'm a .NET C# developer here. But I would wait for Silverlight 2.0 to be fully release and available on Windows Mobile before starting porting my app, since that will the direction that MS is heading, and Silverlight is where you can compose a great UI and animation, and use Expression as design tool. Regular .NET Mobile doesn't have good controls and animation support build in.
I suggest you guys should start targeting iPhone. It does have da BEST SDK I had seen so far, great emulator (fast, super fast, pop in a blink of an eye). Fully integrated Inteface Builder (UI designer). Debuger, monitoring the emulator tools... (No wonder, their phone #1 on the marget). So start learning Objective-C now, it's very similar to C++ but diff. in syntax, and it's OOP language. But for those of you that prefered "all code in one file" should be and diff. I'm 1-2 weaks ahead of you guy on iPhone porting. So start your engine and see if you guys can race with me to the App Store.
