Hi All: you might have fail to win in adroid challenge that doesn't mean your idea being failed.if you feel your idea is great and people going to accept you can keep on developing your app not only in android but also in other development tools like j2me which can support lot of device and os. Since android almost like J2SE , i assume every body master in j2se so its easy to work with J2ME and you can find the entire mobil market at your hand. Those who would have location based apps and would like to port to J2me please visit : http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.php/How_to_read_Location_from_Bluetooth_GPS to learn how to do it in j2me , you will find lot of example here and development tools which will satisfy your need.More over, you will have physical handset to test instead of emulator. lets Cheer and hunt the entire mobile world.
