From an enthusiast of cars performance. To: the winner Mr. Virachat Due my initial intention to submit a dyno application, I have more ideas to improve your winner entry that I want to share with you.
1. Use accelerometers to measurement negative acceleration: brake performance, test anti-lock brake systems 2. Use vertical and lateral axis readings to improve precision on longitudinal axis readings. Discarding vertical axis measurements introduce huge errors in initial longitudinal acceleration. 3. Use the android camera to sync with external signals and compute the pilot reaction time (like the green light semaphore). 4. Draw a color graphic line over Google maps, to show lateral and longitudinal accelerations. 5.- Indispensability (funny): use your application to show to police that you don’t exceed the speed and they are wrong. I have more useful ideas about that. I work with accelerometers raw data extensively for the Blicopter INS and NAV subsystems. I upload a 30 second video of my car that I made 11 years ago (ups, was younger).
