What do you mean I don't get it? I don't get that you guys are mad that you didn't win so your flaming google and finding any excuse to say that they cheated? Think about it, it is not in the interest of google to cheat... this contest is to boost the quality of their operating system.
You want to know why some of those different programs like Mrs. Cook won? Because they are looking at it like the Nintendo Wii, obviously. While some programs may some cooler and more relevant... they picked a wide spectrum of programs - including those that would attract every type of audience to their operating system. With each extra genre of program, they expand their target market that much further. By having a program that appeals to every single person, they can market the phone to more and more people. I understand pretty much every program is as innovative and relative as the next - but the OHA had to pick 50 out of 1,800 applicants... they did their best and chose the applications that would increase their overall target market. It's business, and it was their choice... if they wanted to pick the program that displayed a big A on the screen, they could! It was their choice and up to them what they wanted to do. Stop freaking out, take the feedback you received from google - and take my whole target market thing and implement those ideas and theories into your next submission... don't simply say "It's rigged, im giving up!"
