Isn't it simplier to play video this way??
private String filePath = "/tmp/test.mp4";
private VideoView vv;
protected void onCreate(Bundle icicle)
{
super.onCreate(icicle);
vv = new VideoView(this);
setContentView(vv);
vv.setVideoPath(filePath);
//vv.start();
}
