ok, from this thread, http://groups.google.com/group/android-developers/browse_thread/thread/b648ce2fe622463/e47e778c3fd4f423?lnk=gst&q=getscrolly%28%29#e47e778c3fd4f423
I think, we can't stop scrolling. ListView is doing scrolling for us and we can't stop scrolling. I also tried getScrollY(), but its always zero. In my case, I have 3 buttons on top of the screen (like tabs) and clicking on each button, its showing a list. Moreover, I am using same adapter for all 3 lists. I can't use tabs. I want with button itself.
