Hi, all-

I am trying to build the ApiDemos from the 1.6 samples (as a handy
reference while developing for 1.6 and up). But I am seeing build
errors I don't remember seeing when I did the build for 1.5 samples
months ago, errors I can't easily make go away by doing a touch on res/
layout files, nor by Clean Project. Nor has a search of this Google
group for ApiDemos "No resource found that matches" "at 'text' with
value" shown anything clearly helpful and relevant.,

Specifically, after creating a new project and setting "Create project
existing Sample" and Build Target 1.6, the errors I get are:

And since I am not sure exactly when the above occurred, here are the
errors on a fresh build attempt: (turning off Build Automatically,
doing Clean Project and building w/ Project>Build Project):

Environment details: Eclipse Galileo, ADT 9.0.0.v201101191456-93220;
Installed packages: ... SDK Platform Android 1.6 API 4, revision 3,
SDK Platfrom Android 2.3.1 API 9 revision 2, Android SDK Platform
Tools, revision 2, Android SDK Tools, revision 9, Fedora 13 (Goddard)

I suspect something weird about my installation, since I remember
having sporadic similar problems ever since I deleted SDK platforms
for 1.6 and 1.5 leaving only 2.2 working a few months ago. Yet as one
can see from the Environemnt details listed above, 1.6 seems to have
been restored. Yet it fails to build for 1.6, and successfully builds
for 2.3.1.

TIA.
