Really, guys, there is only one way to do this right: 1. Write a Ruby on Rails application that exposes a REST-ful JSON service. 2. Deploy it on Amazon EC2 or ColudFoundry 3. When you first start your up, connect to the service and get the saved instance state. 4. If the response is empty, start Activity1. When Activity1 finishes make another call to the service, to save state. 5. If the response is not empty, start Activity2. Of course you should secure this with OAuth, and integrate with Facebook and Twitter so people can use their existing accounts to log on to your service.
