Finally got my new Mac to replace that POS windoze laptop...now I'm
trying to get setup again to continue working on my current app, and
I've run into a bit of a snag....

I looked on the Oracle/Java site, and all they have for Java 6 is for
various versions of Linux, Solaris (aka Slowaris), and Windoze. Nothing
for Macs.

I saw a reference to OpenJDK, but will that work for Android stuff?
Similar question for Java 7, which is supposedly (according to the
Oracle/Java site) the first release for Macs ... but if that's true,
what has everyone with a Mac been using? :-) The last I read,
Java 7 and Android don't exactly work together so well....

Oh, and is this part of the fight I seem to recall hearing about between
Apple and Oracle (or was that Apple and Google)?

Thanks,
