If you want to play with the Donut SDK & ADT eclipse plug-in, I've just built them both from the open source repository and you can get them at;
http://andappstore.com/AndroidApplications/sdk/ The latest code from the repo includes the WVGA and QVGA skins and the supports-screens manifest tag (and who knows what else) so it might be worth giving your apps a spin to see how the look on bigger and smaller screens. Remember: These are built from the open repository, so don't expect any support from the Google guys as their repo may have a different set of sprinkles.
