I've seen alot of people say that using the IMEI is the way to go to validate uniqueness. Is this going to be valid on devices that are not phones but still use the Android OS? I'm getting ready to beta my app and am using the androidid. My only issue is that I haven't figure out a way to simulate it on the emulator. Luckily I have a phone to work with so it's not as big of deal but if there were a way to simulate it in the emulator I could test some of the alert feature I plan to have. Is there a way to do this?
