If you just need to test your "individual" activities, here is some code that you can insert in onCreate:
Locale locale = new Locale("fr"); Locale.setDefault(locale); Configuration config = new Configuration(); config.locale = locale; getBaseContext().getResources().updateConfiguration(config, getBaseContext().getResources().getDisplayMetrics()); This should activate your French resources BUT! be warned that this code has stopped working for me since Android 2.0. Seems others are also experiencing problems since the new SDK. Note sure how to fix it yet (so I'd suggest compiling against Android 1.6, if possible) S.
