To the Google an OHA members on this thread we are suggesting that groups is not an ideal resource. The wiki central collection of community created articles is meant as a complimentary to the group lists.
An example user case: Poor Diane the Engineer keeps explaining over and over again about the plans for NDK and the limitations of NDK. Now imagine the time saved if she could just point to a wiki doc on NDK every time the question comes up. My aplogies to using poor Diane as the example. There are countless examples I see on evry Adnorid list daily. We mare not directly asking that Google make resources to do this we are just asking if there are any formal immediate plans to do this and if not than we the community can bring about this needed resource into being. I really do think it would be useful to all those in the Android COmmunity not just the Applocation Developers.
