Well, I thought the G1 was triband. Sorry. I must admit that it's a
problem for you :/

Anyway, Japan and Korea also use 2100 as a 3G standard.  America
(mostly north part) is the only one not to use that frequency. T-
Mobile use standard frequency because they are german and work with
Ericsson 3G emittor I believe.
