There is nothing magical in blackberry. Just as in blackberry, the particular application has to be written to launch the dialer. And copy/paste works fine for me... maybe you're just used to the crappy way that blackberry does things?
I have yet to see a single thing that BB can do that would be out of place in the 1970's. They are, from a developer's and a user's perspective, absolutely TERRIBLE pieces of CRAP.
