The hooks are there in the OS for dialing numbes, it's no great shakes for a developer to add it to their code. Anyway I'm not interested in extra apps that have to be downloaded, we are talking about the core operating system here.
I imagine your opinion of Blackberry is NOT based on using one for 2 years? Live with one for a while and you will realise why you can do things on Blackbery about 100% quicker than you can at present on Android. (note my use of the word present) For email, calendar, search and just getting things done without any fuss, they are THE best device. I'm also guessing you have not used copy and paste at any length on a Blackberry too. If you had you would know why it were streets ahead from Android at this stage and would not call it "crappy" :) But Blackberry has had 10+years head start on Android, that's one of the reasons why it works so well.
