The "fix_permissions" thing reassigns the user directories to the user
account assigned to the particular app.

When changing the system image, at least under certain circumstances
(i.e. signed with a different key or something like that), the user
accounts get shuffled and the apps themselves are sortof reinstalled.
The end result is that the user accounts owning the app home
directories don't match the user account assigned to the app, which
means that the app won't have access to its own home directory. The
"fix_permissions" script reads the user accounts and chown's the home
directories to match the appropriate user accounts.

And sorry I didn't keep up with that thread... it must have slipped
down a little too fast. I don't know how much more I would have been
able to help you with it though. Glad you got it running.
