Would I anger the gods of T-Mobile if I were to root/unlock my phone? The main, driving reason I wish to root my phone is so I can use a terminal app to browse files and do useful things, besides "ls" and "cat".
Other than the potential smiting, are there any other severe drawbacks associated with this?
