Hi Rastlosen and list. First post here, please take it easy on me. :-) Anyway this seems a good enough place for me to jump in as just this past weekend I received a Sciphone N21 for evaluation. On Saturday I played around with it, learning the basic operating tasks for Android 1.5. I discovered two items that bothered me. 1. All hard-wire interfaces go through a USB port, including the headphones. I would have preferred a standard headphone jack, or at least headphones with both earpieces working. 2. No access to the Android Market On Sunday I decided to search on Google about getting access the Market. Within an hour or so my phone was upgraded to Android 1.6, Google Apps were working and I could get to the Market. Since then the only other issue is the lack of GPS in the unit. Being a Pirate (in the political sense only) I didn't really want a GPS in my phone anyway. Then again now that I've got some apps from the market, some of them don't work outright or in-full. The metal detector and tricorder apps come to mind. All in all, I'm actually rather satisfied with the Sciphone N21 (which is essentially the General Mobile DSTL1) Cheers, - Scott -- Scott Elcomb http://www.psema4.com/ @psema4 Member of the Pirate Party of Canada http://www.pirateparty.ca/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
