I'm fairly new to android development and starting a new app. I'm
wondering if anyone has a DB somewhere that tracks devices, their
android versions and provider customizations (if certain apis are
crippled, or a device on say AT&T behaves differently from one on
Verizon, etc.)
What is prompting this is the addition of the Calendar API in Ice Cream
Sandwich and I'm curious how worthwhile it will be to make the
application backwardly compatible, and if so, how far back should I go.
All pointers appreciated.
