*Job role: Project Portfolio Manager* *Location: Philadelphia, PA* *Duration: 3-4 months Contract* *Start: ASAP* *Job description:* As a member of Client IT Project Management Office (PMO), the Sr. IT Project Manager will manage the formation of small scale projects and PPM process for select schools and centers based on the establish PMO model. S/he will use industry-proven best practices and techniques in project portfolio management, IT, and business, to help drive change through technology transformation, and business process redesign. *Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Business or related field, Master’s degree preferred, and a minimum of four years of enterprise-level project management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Formal training in project management; PMP certification preferred. Strong understanding of business process improvement and demonstrated strong negotiating, planning, team building, coaching, financial and risk management skills; a good understanding of emerging technologies. Must be able to lead efforts to assess the competitiveness of new technologies in relation to the overall goals and objectives of the University. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong leadership ability, as well as innovation and creativity in delivering technology solutions. A proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, enterprise technology projects. Client collaboration experience and experience in simultaneously managing multiple projects and working with cross-functional teams.
