*Position:* Senior  Active Directory Engineer

*Location: *Sunnyvale CA

*Contract: *6 months - 1 year

 *Required Technical Skill Set*

·         Directory services (Active Directory)

·         Understanding of security concepts related to Public Key
Infrastructures including Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS).

·         Understanding of Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPO),
Network Policy Server (NPS).

 *Experience:*

·         At least 5 years’ experience as member of an Identity and Access
Management of a global enterprise.

·         Experience leading directory services (Active Directory)
acquisition and integration projects

·         Experience developing and executing migrations from cloud and
other third party directory services to on premises directories. Related
experience extending on-premises directory services to Office 365.

·         Experience working with developers and leading the effort to
document directory services application dependencies and integration
points. Related experience leading the migration effort from legacy
directories to a consolidated global directory.

·         Experience writing complex PowerShell scripts to support loading
Active Directory accounts. Related experience using ADMT to migrate
accounts and/or SID history.

·         Experience planning multi-forest trust relationships and
integrating with complex DNS namespaces.

·         Project based experience extending Active Directory to cloud
services such as AWS and Azure.

 *Must-Have:*

·         Expert level knowledge of DNS

o    Experience supporting both internal (Active Directory) and externally
hosted DNS platforms

o    Proven experiencing managing complex DNS infrastructures with multiple
domains, sites, and egress points.

o    Expert knowledge of Active Directory integrated DNS and ability to
support and configure DNS scavenging in a multi-forest Active Directory
with and without trust relationships.

o    Expert level knowledge of Active Directory Sites and Services in a
complex network with hundreds of sites with varying levels of connectivity



·         Active Directory Federation Services – Design, Implementation,
and Support

·         Microsoft PKI

o    Experiencing designing and supporting Microsoft PKI in a complex,
multi-forest/domain environment. Related experience integrating and
deploying PKI to acquired organizations.

o    Demonstrated experience managing, monitoring, and trouble-shooting
complex PKI issues.

·         Demonstrable experience with the integration of Authentication
and Authorization of Linux/Unix based systems to Active Directory.
Including:

o    Kerberos

o    SSSD, Winbind

o    LDAP

o    Centralized Sudoers management approaches

·         Expertise with network equipment (Cisco preferred), protocols,
and trouble-shooting

o    Demonstrated experience working with complex TCP/IP networks.

o    Ability to independently perform analysis of systems and applications
using tools such as Microsoft Message Analyzer, WireShark, and Fiddler.

·         Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of tools

o    Ability to create and deliver presentations using Microsoft Power Point

o    Ability to extract, transform, and pivot large amounts of data using
Microsoft Excel and PowerBI.

o    Experience creating multi-page reports, operating procedures, and
other documentation using Microsoft Word.

·         Deep theoretical knowledge and provable enterprise experience in
design and deployment of Active Directory.

·         Experience with PAM configuration

·         Deep understanding of SSH Authentication and cutting edge
Certificate Based SSH

·         authentication

·         Working knowledge NFSv4 and migration paths from earlier versions

·         Understanding of centralized Secret and Credential Management.

·         Good Understanding of PKI and Certificates

·         Expert knowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS, in a Windows 2012
landscape (knowledge of 2008 as well)



*Responsibilities :*



The Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Active Directory) ensures solutions are
expertly selected, designed, delivered, optimized and supported during the
entire infrastructure lifecycle deployment of an Active Directory based
Authentication and Authorization solution for servers running on various
Linux/Unix distributions, and Windows versions – including some legacy. In
this role, the Senior Infrastructure Engineer will work as an Active
Directory project lead and architect, collaborating with other system and
network architects, infrastructure engineers, and associates to plan and
deliver directory integration
