UI/UX Designer

UI/UX Designer

*Only GC and US Citizens*.  The UX/UI Designer will relentlessly advocate
for the customer, inspiring others to push the boundaries when creating
user experiences that show our dedication for customer’s finances—up to and
through retirement. They will conceptualize these experiences through
collaboration, sketching, storyboarding, information modeling and other
methods.



Candidates should possess a strong foundation in user experience, digital
design, and a demonstrated ability to produce clean and simple layouts
using components that solve customers’ needs.



Key Responsibilities and Duties

·                Collaborate with UX, product and technology partners to
fully understand the customer journey, potential gaps and opportunities

·                Using a mobile-first mindset, create end-to-end
experiences beginning with low- to high-fidelity wireframes, user flows,
visual designs, and documentation as needed throughout the design process
to appropriately communicate the experience

·                Continually explore the competitive landscape and trends
within the financial service market

·                Maintain a working knowledge of emerging user interface,
interaction design standards and

best practices

·                Partner with technology partners to ensure technical
feasibility and review implementation of the experience



Required Skills

·                Ability to work within a design system

·                Talent for presenting creative work, highlighting both the
customer journey and design rationale

·                Flexibility to iterate on experiences, negotiating
feedback from collaborative partners in

real time

·                Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and
intelligently

·                Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design
processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients

·                Effective interpersonal and communication skills

·                Strong initiative and work ethic to meet critical project
deadlines

·                Comfortable working within a fast-paced, deadline-driven,
and collaborative creative environment

·                Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across the
enterprise

·                Ability to receive constructive feedback and implement
changes as necessary

·                Experience with collaborative design tools such as Figma,
Sketch, InVision and Adobe Creative Cloud



Preferred Skills

·                Flexibility to continuously adapt to meet the
ever-changing needs of the market

·                Experience within financial services or other highly
regulated industries

·                Experience with agile methodologies

·                Experience with web technologies (HTML/CSS)

·                Experience with mobile iOS & Android



Preferred Education and Credentials

Bachelor’s degree in human-computer interaction (HCI), design or other
relevant field of study, or equivalent career experience.
