Anil, On thing you can try is to be sure you are using the Sun JDK for all three Java components: java, javac, javadoc
In Ubuntu you can check by running these commands: sudo update-alternatives –config java sudo update-alternatives –config javac sudo update-alternatives –config javadoc I had issues doing builds because while I was using the Sun JDK for "java", the "javac" and "javadoc' were still set to use the GCJ.
