Two of your own citations contradict your statements. (HTC never said and did not confirm the rumors surrounding their devices, and the date of second-half 2008 is indeed unchanged, as the articles state.) As you claim to be an industry veteran, I would think you'd know better than to follow rumors so closely.
The most accurate information we have is still second half of 2008. It's your right to choose to believe that's a public relations statement and not based (as it actually is) on our and our partners' schedules. That does not, however, give your opinion any credibility.
